Applies To: All 2626 probes
Problem Description: 2626 sensor reads incorrectly
Resolution/Work Around: The following warnings regarding the 2626 relative humidity sensor should be observed:
- The 2626 sensor must not have direct contact with any liquids, which can cause permanent damage to the sensor or cause long-lasting measurement error.
- The 2626 sensor must not be exposed to any corrosive vapors, which can cause permanent damage the sensor.
- The 2626 sensor should not be exposed to vapors from volatile organic compounds, which can cause measurement error.
- The 2626 sensor is specified to operate accurately in up 80 % relative humidity. Accuracy cannot be guaranteed above that limit.
- Exposure to humidity above 90 % can soak the sensor and cause a residual measurement error after the sensor is returned to a lower humidity environment. The error will gradually diminish over time and may require several hours or longer depending on how high the maximum humidity was.
