2465A Autofloat controller, How to Calibrate its Sensors

See this file for summary information on calibrating and/or adjusting the sensors on the 2465 Autofloat controller. Note that WinPrompt is used to interface with the Autofloat controller. Also note that all, or most, of these instructions are in the WinPrompt user manual and/or the product's user manual.

This document also applies to the 2456 Piston Gauge Monitor with the exception of Control Coefficients that the PG Monitor does not have.

Note that the Sleeve Mass Offset Value for a 120 g (0.26lbm) sleeve weight should be set to -0.1 mm (-0.03937 in) in the .ms file in WinPrompt or COMPASS for Pressure for the FPI to read correctly.

If you have the hardware to calibrate the 2455-11-006 RTD that is used with the PG Monitor but don't have software to calculate new coefficients, our TableWare software can be used to calculate new Rptw and a(10) coefficients.

Here is its product page on our web site,
