How do I single step through a procedure ?

I'm trying to troubleshoot a new procedure. How do I single step through a procedure in Met/Cal editor version 8 ?

I see I can select a point and run from there, but I need to wait the results during step execution.

F11 will step you one step at a time.

Thanks Krista !  I'll give that a try. I'm currently running a residuals test on a Rohde & Schwarz FSW26 and it will be while before it completes.

Also a related question - while debugging in editor, is it possible to pause and then continue ?

And is Navigate Backward  a useful feature?

Well when you are stepping you don't have to go to the next step until you want to.  If you want to run and then pause and then step from there - you can put in a break point. (just click the outer left margin on the step where you want to break and you will see a red ball) hit run and run until you get to the break point and step from there.

I have not used Navigate backward - so I have never found it useful - but that is just opinion. :)

The Navigate Forward and Navigate Backward commands in the View menu are used to select the active document /procedure from all the open document/procedure windows. It has no utility in debugging.
