How to enter a value from a standart to a memory without showing on the calibration certificate

Hi to all,

How can I enter a value from a standart to a memory without showing in on the calibration ceritficate?

I need the value for further calculations, but I don´t want to show it in the calibration certificate.

Which standard is it? How are you taking the value?

If you're using an instrument FSC, it's all about the test type you've indicated. If you put an N in MOD4, it will not use that line as an evaluation and will put the result in MEM. Then you can put it wherever you need/want to use it from.

Hi Michael,

the standard is a 8842A and I take it over IEEE.

I'm a little confused by your question. If you are using an FSC, MEM1 is the System Actual, MEM is the value read from the UUT.  Which values are you trying to manipulate?

If you're taking the reading with the IEEE FSC, then you are just putting the value in MEM already, right? How are you getting it onto your cert presently? Can you paste the lines from your procedure that you're wanting to change? It's much easier with seeing the actual code.

If you're trying to store a measurement from the 8842.

1.001 IEEE [@8842] ?[I]

This will store the measured value to MEM.

Next you can use the MATH FSC to manipulate the stored reading.

I am confused, too. Maybe I think to complicate. I´ll try it again today.

Thank you!
