Keysight U1251B SCPI and serial port setup

Hello!
Someone programmed calibration of multimeter in 1251?
Is it a list of commands?
What could be the serial port settings?

Where did you get this procedure?

I think he's asking if someone has ever programmed a procedure for it, not stating that he has a program that someone else has programmed.

dvoetut,

Here's a link to the documentation for the software that Keysight provided for interfacing between the PC and the U1251B.

I quickly looked though it and it doesn't seem to contain any literal commands, but only looks to have a GUI for sending commands.

That said, you might be able to use some kind of USB spy application to monitor the data being sent to the DMM, then duplicate that in your automation software.

That is why I am asking.  All the Keysight handheld volt meters are fully automatable.  We have written procedures for all of them both verification and adjustment.  You need to special cable from Keysight to line up the IR comm cable.

Keysight (then Agilent) was giving / reselling our MET/CAL procedures to several large customers.  So I was just asking if it was one of our procedures because they all come with FREE technical support.

They still are :) I saw it when I was looking for the other documentation.

I don't think Keysight ever released the programming codes to those DMMs.  We as a Keysight Solution partner had to sign an NDA to get the programming commands.

Almost all of the Keysight DMM's can be calibrated and adjusted automated.  If you flip them over most of them have two optical I/O ports for calibration.  But you have to build (or buy) the jig that allows you to connect the USB Optical Controller.

Thank you all!
Infrared cable to connect the meter to the computer I have.
I found the instrument commands.
I myself have written procedures.
Everything works in a fully automatic mode.
It was an interesting experience))
