trouble setting up email alerts

Trying to set up [Reports - Alerting Schedules].  When setting up a New Alert Schedule  I keep getting "Connection to server failed."

Pretty sure [System Defaults - Alerts.*] are defined properly and active.  I have set up my SMTP server for other programs so I know that part works.

Has anyone had success with this?

You don't have report selected. Should be Recall-Alerting.rpt

Thanks.  From the Help screen I thought it was one or the other (data check or report name).  Now I see that doesn't make sense.

I fixed that but nothing is hitting the smtp server.  Will a recall report not be generated if manually running a recall report finds no instruments?  (I have yet to get the recall system to work).

Make sure all of your assets have 'Recalled Asset' checked. Also under History/Notes or Scheduled Services, the Service Type must be either Calibration or Cal/Repair.

Hi Bill,

Everything was set like that but still zero results.   Edit: it does work, but only for newly created assets - migrated assets are not recalled.

My use of the recall function is only for our lab standards so I just wrote a report and put it on a monthly schedule.

Thanks for all your help.

See attached. Hope I'm clear on this. FYI. We had a lot of problems on this when we first got Met/Team. Once I figured out one the rest were a little easier. I still haven't figured out everything. I wish Fluke had more training on Met/Team.

Yep, that's clear for me.  I'll check that out.

Thanks!
