Running scheduled reports

Hi,

being fairly new to MET/TEAM, I just ran into the following problem:

I create a schedule to run a recall report (one of the build-in reports), but whenever it runs the logfile says report not found:

<error>
Message=Locating Crystal Report: Recall-Alerting.rpt
Time=3/5/2015 3:42:42 PM
Software Version=2.0.4.132
</error>

<error>
Message=Loading Crystal Report: E:\METTEAM\Reporting\System\Recall-Alerting.rpt
Time=3/5/2015 3:42:42 PM
Software Version=2.0.4.132
</error>

The report is definitley located in this directory...

If anyone has an idea whatelse could cause the error message, that would help a lot.

Thanks,

Stefan

Stefan,

Thank you for reaching out to us. In your version of MET/TEAM, there was a bug with the logging engine which would output common messages to the error log file. It does not mean that an actual error occurred. This is just informational data, useful in the event of an actual error.

Future versions of MET/TEAM are cleaned up and do not write such excessive information to the error log.

I believe the report is running just fine, however, this report can be tricky to setup. If it is not actually sending any PDFs, please feel free to ask more questions. I will be more than happy to help with any other problems you may be experiencing.

Thanks, and have a great day!

Hi Josh,

Thanks for the reply.

Actually I do not receive any PDF by e-mail (and I should be in CC for the notifications), but first I will need to check with our mail server administrator, if the mails getting rejected by the smtp server.

Hi Josh,

Actually it took me ages to get back to that topic. :)

The error log actually is clean now (currently running MET/TEAM 2.0.6) and the report is running and sending e-mails.

Two problems remain:

1. The report won't stop. It sends out e-mails to my two test receipients, but then keeps running.

2. The html file attached to the e-mail will always claima that there are no items due for calibration found.

Any idea what could be the cause?

Thanks,

Stefan

Hi Josh and Stefan,

I experience the same 2 problems when running the Recall escalation. Is there a training video availabel on this subject?
