print sticker in runtime workorder

Hello,

We have an issue with printing sticker in the runtime workorder, the popup preview looks ok when

i click the printer button but it prints a blank sticker.

When i open the same wordkorder in met/team  it works ok.

I use the printer Zebra GX 430t ,runtime version 9.

I hope someone can help or advise.

Can't help except to say we have the same setup and the same problem.

If it helps, Fluke says version 2.2 will be out soon.  Maybe that is fixed.

Same problem here as well.  Got used to closing out runtime work order and re-opening work order with Met Team in order to print cal sticker.   Brother 9700PC printer.

Glad I not the only one.

Well ,

I am  working   with the beta 2.2(testing). but there is still this problem.

I was thinking the problem is on my system or windows setup or a printerdriver problem.

Good to know other printers have the same problem,i wil inform fluke about this.

Thanks.

Haven't tried it with MET/TEAM yet, but I had a similar issue with a Zebra GK420t.

Saving printer a default printer in the Crystal template sorted it out for us, maybe it'd help here too?

Hi

Thanks for replying but this is not really my issue.

It is actually connecting to the dB in crystal reports.

I have done some digging this morning.

We are running a sequel server 2014 and understood from Fluke that I needed to link toit by using Native Client 10.

Having lookedat the microsoft web site, it would appear tha I need to use Native Client 11 and not 10.

However, this posses another set of issues, mainly that the field varibles in the CR's supplied by Fluke are not available when using Native Client 11.

We have had Met/Team for a little over a year and the same problem has been there since the upgrade.  I have put some time into trying/troubleshooting with different settings.  Maybe with the following information someone can work out a fix. Met/Cal 9.1.1, Windows 10, Brother printers PT-D800W (network) and PT-9500PC (local), runtime workorder window, Cal Label 1.1" long on 0.70" label tape, the Met/Cal work order label print button has been pressed and the label PDF has been rendered.

Here it is:

1. When the printer preferences on the Brother setup are set to either 1.4" (36 mm) or 0.94" (24mm), the print button opens the print dialog box and the label will print as long as the printer has that size tape.  It doesn't seem to matter what the crystal report print settings are. When the label prints on 1.4" tape, it rotates the label to portrait orientation, which is undesirable.

2. When the printer preferences are set to any other size, 0.70" (18 mm) or smaller, the print button does not respond and does not open the print dialog box.  Therefore, no label.

3. If you set the print preferences to 1.4", click the print button (the print dialog opens), and you try to change the printer preferences using the dialog buttons to 0.70", and then click print, it breaks and locks up the PDF and the the Met/Cal work order.

4. I modified the Cal Label to the smallest possible format, thinking that the layout was just too big for the settings.  It didn't matter what the label size was, it would still not give me a print dialog for my 0.70" or smaller setting/label tape.

Good Printing
