In the configuration window, just type in a make and model for your reference/standard. Then press OK. A subsequent window opens asking for how to communicate (IEEE, Serial, None). Fill out the rest of the information.

And... in the procedure the following must be executed:

User-Configured Instrument (e.g. IEEE-488 or RS232 reference for which there is no FSC).

    Serial:   PORT [@<alias>]<cmd>

    IEEE-488:   IEEE [@<alias>]<cmd> or IEEE2 [@<alias>]<cmd> or SCPI [<@alias>]<cmd>

Manual Standard

    STD <instrument name>

The reference will only be in the list of standards used if a least one statemen as outlined above is executed.

Mr. Dale

Thank for your response.

Please could you clarify in detailed for the below Instrument Configuration:

I have configured the FLUKE-726 through RS232, COM1 Port in the Instrument Configuration Window.

Now I wish to execute the FUKE-726 in the procedure

Tell me How to stipulate the procedure for Fluke-726 using as a Voltage Source for UUT Voltage Measurement Calibration.

Example:

DC Voltage Verification:

Reference Standard:

Fluke 726

Nominal Voltage: 5V DC (Generate)

UUT:

Voltage Indicator

Range: 10V

Accuracy: .1%

Resolution: 0.001

Thanks,

MET/CAL Instrument Configuration is only for references, not the UUT/DUT.  Do not configure the UUT/DUT in the instrument configuration.  Set the Default Serial Port to the COM<n> port for which you intend to control the UUT/DUT.  Assuming the MET/CAL procedure came from Fluke Calibration, the baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits, flow control will be set in the procedure using a special construction in the PORT FSC.

E2906 dublicate device in instrument configutation.

I crated a device twice, but the problem ist the window with all the ref. instruments is now empty.

So i have no chance to change it back.
