MetCal 8.0.46 Very Slow Windows 10 Pulling Procedures from Server Drive

We are using MetCal 8.0.46 and it has been installed and working fine. We have been using it with Windows 7 computers and everything has been working well. We have a network version with the licenses and all procedures on a server drive. And a Client application at each individual computer. So when we log in, it is from individual computer to the server drive.

Recently we have added some Windows 10 computers. And it does not work well with them as described below..

We open MetCal in a Windows 10 computer and it opens up fine. when we click CALIBRATE to bring up the screen to select the procedure from, It slows down a LOT. One of our directories has about 2200 procedures with a PROC.DIR file of about 162k. When I click the CALIBRATE screen from a Windows 10 computer, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to load the procedures. At the bottom left of that screen it says "LOADING PROCEDURES PLEASE WAIT..." or that it is caching procedures. In either case, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes.  I have a Windows 7 computer side by side with a Windows 10 computer with exactly the same installation, and connected to exactly the same server, etc. I have tried back and forth between them. On the Windows 7 computer, this directory takes maybe 3 to 5 seconds to load. On the Windows 10 computer, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to load.

After the procedures load on the Windows 10 computer, I am able to run MetCal procedures (I did a Fluke 87 procedure in SIMULATION mode yesterday, and it ran fine).

So the software does work on Windows 10. But there is something causing the Network transfer of procedures list from the server drive to the Windows 10 computer to slow way down.

I have been searching for past couple of days and have found various other applications where people complain of similar symptoms (other Windows 10 computers pulling large numbers of files from server drives) with similar issues.  Some recommended fixes included some Registry key changes, make sure Windows 10 has all of the latest updates, etc.  But none of these have worked. I have also seen that other MetCal users have successfully been using MetCal in Windows 10. So I don't believe there is a hard compatibility issue.

I suspect perhaps it is some quirk about how Windows 10 deals with large numbers of files. But I am pretty much at a loss.  I would appreciate if anyone has dealt with this could help with a resolution. Or if someone could tell me what details from my computer I should post to help asses the problem.

Also, along the same thought line, are there Server OS versions that are needed for our servers to correctly talk with MetCal in a Windows 10 Client context?

Thanks for any possible help.

First of all, is not 8.0.46 compatible with Windows 10?
Is it too late copying Procedure locally to the Client and loading it?

SOLUTION FOUND. MetCal 8.0,46 had difficulties with Windows 10 when communicating with servers. Applying 8.0.51 patch corrected the problem.

It was good.
I think that it is valuable information as an actual example of operation on Windows 10.
